Residential Support Worker – Therapeutic Children’s Home
📍 Location: Oldham, OL3
💷 Salary: £14 per hours & £70 per sleep
🕒 Shifts: 48-hour shifts + occasional 24-hour shifts (rota confirmed 6 months in advance)
🛌 Sleep-ins: 8–10 per month (essential)
📞 On-call duties: Required
🚗 Driver: Yes, essential
🎓 Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent is desirable

About the Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in transforming lives. You'll:
- Deliver consistent, one-to-one therapeutic care to children aged 5–17
- Support children in daily routines, education, and social activities — from appointments to UK trips and holidays abroad
- Be a positive role model, providing stability, safety, and emotional support
- Help create a nurturing environment where children feel heard and valued
- Maintain accurate records in line with care plans
- Work collaboratively with a close-knit team and an experienced manager
- Be resilient through the highs and lows — and always ready to put the child first
