Senior Residential Support Worker – Therapeutic Children’s Home

📍 Location: Oldham, OL3
💷 Salary: £16 per hours & £70 per sleep

About the Role

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in transforming lives. You'll:

  • Deliver consistent, one-to-one therapeutic care to children aged 5–17

  • Support children in daily routines, education, and social activities — from appointments to UK trips and holidays abroad

  • Be a positive role model, providing stability, safety, and emotional support

  • Help create a nurturing environment where children feel heard and valued

  • Maintain accurate records in line with care plans

  • Work collaboratively with a close-knit team and experienced manager

  • Be resilient through the highs and lows — and always ready to put the child first

What We’re Looking For

✔️ At least 1 year’s experience in a children’s residential care setting
✔️ Level 3 Diploma (or equivalent) in Residential Childcare
✔️ A full UK driving licence
✔️ Passion, empathy, and a strong sense of purpose
✔️ Commitment to building a career in therapeutic care — with support to gain your Level 5 Diploma and progress into management
