💷 Salary: £38,500 inclusive of sleeps 
Working Hours: Full-time
🏡 Service: Children’s Home
👥 Service Users: Young People who have suffered early life trauma, neglect, or abuse and may display challenging behaviours
🎓 Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent
📅 Experience in Years Required: Minimum 2 years

👤 Who we are looking for…
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Residential Support Worker who is passionate about supporting children and young people. The ideal candidate will:

  • Plan and manage shifts with Residential Support Workers

  • Safely manage risks in line with company policies and procedures

  • Communicate effectively with the team regarding daily plans

  • Provide detailed reports reflecting the progress of young people using our paperless systems

  • Review care plans and associated documentation

  • Undertake quality and bespoke training

  • Attend staff meetings and contribute to improving the service

  • Advocate for young people using a positive parenting model

  • Utilise positive support strategies, including de-escalation techniques using in-house training (PRICE)
