Job Summary

  

Salary:               Starting Salary: £31,000

After probation rising to: £33,500

Hours:                Shifts allocated between Monday to Sunday on a Rota basis (early mornings, evenings and occasional nights, agreed in advance)

Location:          Rotation between sites of 33 Grosvenor Place, London SW1X 7HY, 24 Portland Place, London W1B 1LU and 55 Moorgate, London, EC2R 6BH

Contract:          Full time, permanent

    

What are we looking for?

Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit Hospital Cleaning Supervisors to join our Environmental Services team. Reporting to the Deputy Environmental Services Manager, the Environmental Services Supervisor supports the leading and the management of Cleveland Clinic London’s (CCL) Environmental Services Operations.

What will your duties include?

  • Guide the team and make sure the department complies with legal and regulatory requirements such as CQC, joint commission and various cleaning accreditations etc.
  • Recruiting and supervising team which includes absence management, appraisals and performance reviews.
  • Ensure that all members have a performance management plan.
  • Ensure timely communication with your direct reports and Caregivers to facilitates smooth operational procedures.
  • Ensuring regular communication with all departments and stakeholders. 
  • Arranging training to ensure compliance to the highest standards.
  • Coaching and mentoring direct report to provide continuous development and support.
  • Supporting departmental projects in four different Cleveland Clinic locations: Outpatient Centres, Main Hospital and Office building.
  • Committing to the continual implementing, monitoring, and improvement of Health and Safety, high standards and first-class patient care.  
  • Ensuring all Health & Safety (COSHH) documentation is completed promptly.

  

What we need from you?

  • Three years of experience as a work leader, team leader, or one year of supervisor experience in a related field
  • Previous environmental services or housekeeping experience is highly preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong technological skills are required to successfully perform day-to-day job duties. There are several systems, devices, and applications to work with and monitor including; Excel, Words, Viso, Microsoft Teams, Kronos, Workday, Epic…
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
