Job Description

At Home Instead, we believe that care is not just a job — it’s a calling. We’re looking for a compassionate and adaptable Live-In Care Professional to join our team, providing ongoing break cover for our regular live-in carers. This unique role is ideal for someone who thrives in new environments, enjoys variety, and is confident supporting different clients with a wide range of needs.

💜 About the Role:

Cover short breaks for existing live-in carers across multiple placements

Support clients with day-to-day tasks including personal care, mobility, meal preparation, companionship, and household duties

Promote independence, dignity, and quality of life at every opportunity

Adapt to new routines and client preferences with a caring and can-do attitude

Qualifications

Someone warm, reliable, and flexible

Comfortable working in different home environments and building relationships quickly

A natural carer who takes pride in helping others

Experience in care is preferred, and a genuine passion for supporting people is essential

Must be eligible to work in the UK and willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check

💷 What We Offer:

£115 per day pay

£35 per week food allowance

All travel expenses covered to and from placements
