About the Role
Care Workers provide safe and appropriate personalised support to citizens according to their assessed needs. This includes writing and maintaining individual person centred care plans and completing assessments and regular reviews. They are also expected to plan, organise and facilitate individual or group activities / interventions in order to support citizens to maximise independence and confidence, as appropriate.
Care Workers are expected to work and cooperate with other professionals, as well as citizens and their meaningful others, to ensure a shared approach to care and support and continuity of care and treatment.
Care Workers at Level 3 should maintain an up to date awareness, knowledge and understanding of relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements relevant to the role, client group and Adult Social Care in general. Care Workers at Level 3 are required to support Care Worker level 2s and 1s to provide safe and appropriate personalised care and support to citizens, dealing with Safeguarding incidents if needed.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
