Job Description

At Home Instead Fareham & Gosport we are committed to providing person centred care to adults living in Fareham and Gosport. We provide a minimum of 1 hour calls, offering consistency and continuity which allows us to establish strong bonds with our clients.

We have opportunities for Part Time and Full Time hours, starting at 8am, in Fareham and Gosport. You will be provided with award winning induction training, with ongoing development and support, therefore no prior experience will be required.

Being a Care Assistant with Home Instead Fareham & Gosport requires you to communicate effectively, be able to use your initiative and have a passion for caring in your community. Your role responsibilities will include:

  • Medication assistance

  • Home help; assisting clients to have a tidy environment

  • Companionship; building connections and assisting clients to engage in activities such as crafts and accessing the community

  • Personal care; ensuring clients are maintaining their personal hygiene

Requirements:

  • No previous experience required; thorough in-house induction assessment and ongoing training will be provided.

  • Strong written and spoken English skills.

  • Availability of reliable transportation for home visits, outings, grocery shopping, and errands.

  • Exceptional organisational skills and time management abilities.

  • Inherent caring and friendly nature, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families.

  • Must be a UK resident with a full UK driving license and your own transportation.

  • Must be 18+
