We have Part-Time opportunities available for evening care assistants in the Fareham and Gosport areas. Whether you have extensive experience as a care professional or you are just starting your journey in care, we want to hear from you!

Being an Evening Care Assistant with Home Instead Fareham & Gosport means you must be patient, caring and ultimately have the desire to make a difference. Your role responsibilities will include:

  • Building meaningful connections with our clients, offering companionship and care during evening visits.

  • Create a welcoming home atmosphere by assisting with light household tasks and meal preparations.

  • Help clients relax and prepare for their evening routine..

  • Engage in enjoyable activities like reading, board games etc.

  • Maintain open and regular communication with clients and their families to provide top-tier care and peace of mind.


  • No previous experience required; thorough in-house induction assessment and ongoing training will be provided.

  • Strong written and spoken English skills.

  • Availability of reliable transportation for home visits, outings, grocery shopping, and errands.

  • Exceptional organisational skills and time management abilities.

  • Inherent caring and friendly nature, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families.

  • Must be a UK resident with a full UK driving license and your own transportation.

  • Must be 18+
