Job Description

Care Assistant Benefits:

Being a Care Professional is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same! With minimum 1 hour care visits and on a client matching basis, you have the time to provide high quality, person-centred care with no rush and time to complete the following duties.

Duties can include:

  • Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit.
  • Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework.
  • Accompanying to appointments or shopping out in the community.
  • Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as washing and dressing to keep them independent.


We welcome individuals who are caring and compassionate. Experience is not essential, however is beneficial. You will be provided with relevant training at Home Instead's standard to be a confident and skilled care assistant. 

Additional Information

A full UK driving licence or suitable means of transport is essential due to commuting to individuals houses to provide care and some clients require accompanying at appointments and social outings.
